About Fidella
Good for hip development
Our carriers hold your little frog in the safe spread-squat-splay position (also called the “M-position”). Knees up, legs spread — just like when you naturally pick up your baby. This position is essential for healthy hip development and prevents hip dysplasia, a painful condition that may require medical treatment.
Good for the back
Fidella carriers evenly distribute your baby’s weight. They support the natural curve of the spine: gently rounded, never slumped. This promotes healthy spinal development.
Good for the neck
All Fidella carriers come with an adjustable headrest, offering full support for your baby’s head and neck until they are strong enough to manage on their own.
Good for you
Each carrier is designed for easy, comfortable carrying — with even weight distribution that protects your back and hips, no matter your body shape.
Fusion: Two buckles, one at the waist, one behind the neck. Fast, simple, and ready to go.
FlyClick: One buckle at the waist, then tie the shoulder straps like a wrap. Spreads weight evenly and is perfect for sharing between wearers.
Yes. We know how important proper hip development is in your baby’s first months. We’re proud to share that both the Fusion and the Fly Click have been certified as “hip healthy” by the independent International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) as long as they’re used according to the instructions.
Sizing and instructions
Absolutely! Fidella carriers are safe for newborns starting from 3.5 kg.
Yes! Fidella carriers are endlessly adjustable — they fit your baby, and they fit you. The waistbelt and shoulder straps are long enough for any body shape, from XS to XXL. Plus, they’re softly padded so they feel like a perfect fit every time.
Yes. Fidella carriers adjust to every body type and size. Want to switch quickly on the go? Choose the Fly Click, its shoulder straps don’t need readjusting when swapping wearers.
Yes. All Fidella carriers allow discreet breastfeeding while carrying your baby. With the Fusion it’s even easier: simply loosen one side and your little one has instant, private access to their meal.
Using your baby: Lay the carrier flat, place your baby on top. Stretch the seat so the leg openings reach the inside of your baby’s knees. Use the straps for the back panel, tighten until the fabric runs from the bottom to above the shoulders (for babies) or up to the armpits (for toddlers).
Using a measuring tape: Measure the distance from knee to knee, then from bottom to shoulders. Adjust the carrier seat and back accordingly.
The seat should always run from one knee to the other.
For babies under 9 months: back panel up to the ears, for proper head support. For older babies and toddlers: back panel up to just below the armpits.
Always check your baby sits in the spread-squat or “M-position”: knees bent, legs spread sideways, back gently rounded.
Yes! We know a picture is worth a thousand words. Visit our instruction page for step-by-step videos and guides so you get the most out of your carrier from day one.
